 The Westminster Parliamentary constituency of Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale covers some 2000 square miles of South and South West Scotland.This largely rural constituency stretches from the outskirts of Dumfries in the west to Peebles in the east, and from Gretna on the English Border to Coalburn in Lanarkshire. In addition it includes Thornhill, Sanqhuar and Kirkconnel in Mid and Upper Nithsdale.
